Ride CampCamp is located on private property but borders public land, so weed-free hay is preferred.
Fire danger is real this time of year! We will have only one, community campfire (if any). Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed. Please do not bring dogs to registration, the vet area, or ride meetings. Horse water will be provided. Please bring your own people water. |
TrailsDay 1: Endurance 50 miles, LD 25 miles
Day 2: Endurance 55 miles, LD 25 miles Day 3: Endurance 50 miles, LD 25 miles Trail rides will be available each day, featuring a scavenger hunt on Saturday. Hunt for lost treasure, pioneer ghosts, or the convict who escaped from the Idaho State Penitentiary in 1901 astride our namesake ~ Old Selam. Our trails are primarily old logging roads, ATV tracks, and single-track crossing private, US Forest Service, and Idaho State lands. Footing is mostly good, but there are some rocky sections. Hoof protection is strongly recomended. Old Selam is part of the Idaho IronHorse Challenge. Ride safe. Ride all three days. Please remember to pre-register, as management needs extra planning time due to COVID. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE SEPTEMBER 1, 2020. |

Please check out and back in with management. Unfortunately, we won't be doing our usual potluck dinners this year for COVID safety reasons. |
Driving DirectionsFrom I-84 in Boise, take Hwy 21 NE 36 miles to Idaho City. Turn left (north) onto Montgomery Street. At the end of the street, turn left (west) and continue for 7 miles on the dirt road toward Centerville. Turn right (north) onto Henry's Creek Road and drive about 1/2 mile into camp.
