Choose your own adventure at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds:
Ride Endurance and Limited Distance events...

Or get sweaty with Ride & Tie!

Days and Distances

Join us for five days of fun!

Each day features a 50- or 55-mile Endurance ride, a 25- or 30-mile Limited Distance ride, and a Ride & Tie.

The Pioneer and Trifecta will take place Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Awards will be given to the best same-horse/same-rider team that finishes all three days in either Endurance (Pioneer) or LD (Trifecta).

Daily Ride & Tie events are offered at 25- and 50-mile distances. Need a shorter distance? Let us know and we'll make it happen!

Ride Camp

Camp is at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds. There are two, racehorse-style barns with over 20, spacious stalls on each side, complete with an overhang and Dutch doors. Space is available nearby for camping and trailers. The Fryeburg grocery and general stores are only a mile away.

The fairgrounds are fenced. Water and electrical hookups are available for a fee. There are even showers, so you can stay all week and keep your friends, too!

Please note: Negative Coggins test (within 12 months) must be shown to unload at the fairgrounds.

Dogs must be confined or leashed at all times unless an exception is approved by management.
The fairgrounds are open from Sunday, August 8 through Sunday, August 14. Please contact management if you are interested in arriving earlier.

There is lots to do here! Contact the ride manager for details of hikes in the White Mountains, canoeing/kayaking on the Saco, the Cog Railroad up Mt. Washington, the Conway Scenic Railroad, swimming, and the Maine coast. Plan time to see everything from moose to outlet stores!

Trails & Start Times

The trails include dirt roads, hiking trails, single track and two-track, pipelines, potato fields, some moderate hills, and a couple miles of tar road or shoulder. Expect river crossings if weather permits.

Maps and directions will be provided for riders and their crews. We always try to have places along the trail for crews to meet their riders.

50-milers will start at 6:00 each day*
25-milers will start at 6:30 each day*

*Start times are subject to change at the discretion of management and riders. LDs may be 25 or 30 miles, as needed to accommodate logistics.
